Our Programmes

“Children are more likely to live in poverty than adults. They’re also more vulnerable to its effects.” UNICEF

Some 736 million people still live in extreme poverty, these include children. For these children,  essentials for a minimum standard of living are lacking and their basic human needs can’t be met. They are locked in a cycle of poverty which robs them of living out their potential.

Child sponsorship is one of the gainful ways to end child poverty. It builds a child’s confidence and self-worth.  We need your help in sponsoring these children. When you sponsor a child, you help provide the basic needs.

Being a sponsor, you will provide a child with books, uniform, food and the necessary medical needs, and the joy knowing you are helping a child to meet their basic human needs. Sponsoring a child gives them hope for their future, and a desire for them to get out of the circle of poverty which so many children are left in.The programme allows donors to make a one time or monthly funding commitments to support individual children with whom they may correspond and even visit to see the impact of their support.

We inspire community engagement and service because we believe that change is a fundamental part of growth and effective change must come from within individuals and groups. Community engagement is important because it is a way of ensuring that community members have access to valued social settings and activities, feel that they are able to contribute meaningfully to those activities, and develop functional capabilities that enable them to participate fully. We organize conferences on various topics where we can invite people who turned their idea into reality – and share with others who can learn how they can, too. Through this programme, we encourage people to create knowledge and understanding and applying that knowledge; use that knowledge to improve the community or address the identified problem; and, create future opportunities for people to engage each other. We Make a difference, differently through learning and create a change that matters.

Families and individuals need to sustain themselves. Studies have shown that when women drive economic growth. When women have control over their incomes, they invest in the education, health and welfare of their families. Our programme gives women a chance to achieve their potential and carry along their families and communities.

Working with our partners, we focus on developing women entrepreneurs, empowering them with the knowledge and tools they need to grow profitable and sustainable business through financial literacy skills.
